UK product distribution is by a network of skilled installation contracting companies, who are supplied either directly from the Mustang factory, or via intermediate regional specialist wholesale distributors dealing in audio and related products. Generally, the wholesaler will keep stocks of products but be unable to assist with detailed system design or site work, whereas the installation contractor will be able to offer a full site evaluation, system design capability, site installation and aftercare.
For over 30 years, Mustang has been building up firm trading relationships with many specialist sound installation contractors and we will be pleased to put you in touch with one in your area. Please call us for details. Contractors have no commercial ties with Mustang and are therefore entirely at liberty to recommend the most appropriate manufacturers equipment for a particular contract. The employment of a contractor will ensure optimum performance of the system, and they will, at all stages of their work, have the re-assurance of absolute support from Mustang - if required.
We are also pleased to supply very large corporate organisations who are likely to employ suitably skilled technical staff and who can take responsibility for their own system design and installation.
Mustang staff will be pleased to offer general guidance with installation projects and suggestions as to the application of particular Mustang products. We do not offer any site work except formal system commissioning where appropriate.
We hold substantial stocks of finished goods. We have no minimum charge for the supply of products, and sales orders are processed the same day for deliveries to be made the next morning.
Overseas product distribution is either through specialist distributor/importers or direct to individual contractors from the Mustang factory. Please contact us for further details.
Spare parts can usually be supplied from the factory from stock. This is part of our standard "same day" service and we have no minimum charge. Product ranges have undergone routine upgrades and enhancements over the years and correspondingly the specifications of the spares might also have changed slightly. However, from our QA system, we can trace a product/variant very accurately from its serial number - right back to 1972.
Repairs are undertaken on any (yes ANY) vintage of Mustang equipment and we are pleased to offer this service to either contractors or users. From receiving the equipment, our typical turn-around on repairs is a day or two depending on the nature of the problem. Items should be sent to us - carefully packed - with a note of the problem and contact details of the sender, but prior telephone discussion with our technical staff would also be very helpful.
